The rental process

  1. Browse my collection online

    I have 100+ dresses for rent, including timeless gowns, designer pieces, and trendy styles like bodycon. Browse my collection and pick your favourites!

  2. Book a try-on

    Before renting a dress, you must first book a try-on appointment at my in-person location in Calgary. Please do not show up to a try-on without first booking an appointment. You can book 45 minute appointment time slots, each costing $10. The $10 is for each 45 minutes, NOT for each dress. The first $10 is refundable, and will be reimbursed to you along with the dress rental deposit, after the return of the dress. Additional 45 minute slots are non-refundable.

  3. Pick your favourites in-person

    The try-on appointment is an opportunity to have fun! Try on your favourite dress styles and see how they look in-person. I also have many photoshoot accessories (1 free accessory is included in your dress rental).

  4. Pay for the number of days and dresses you want

    I will also require a dress rental deposit, which will be refunded after you return your items.

  5. Return hassle-free, no cleaning required

    Simply drop off the dresses, get your deposit back, and delight at the good memories!

  • Try-on Appointment Payment (for 45 minutes, NOT for each dress):

    • First slot: $10 (refundable)

    • Additional slots: $10 each (not refundable)

    Dress Rental Deposit:

    • A security deposit, refunded after the return of the dress

    Dress Rental Payment:

    • The cost of renting the dress per day

    Cleaning Fee:

    • A flat fee per dress, for cleaning

    1. Appointment Booking: Each try-on appointment slot is 45 minutes and costs $10 per slot. The first $10 will be refunded to you. Additional slots cannot be refunded.

    2. Group Appointments: For groups (2+ clients), book at least 2 slots as each person typically needs 45 minutes to choose a dress. If only 1 slot is booked, I will assume only 1 client is coming.

    3. Payment Method: Please e-transfer your booking payment to: turbinanat@yahoo.com. If payment is not received, your appointment may be cancelled (if I only receive payment for 1 slot, additional slots may be cancelled)

    4. Guest Limit: You may only bring 1 non-client guest. Exceptions are made for children.

    5. Try-on Appointment refunds:

      • If you cancel your try-on session more than 48 hours (2 days) in advance, your appointment will be refunded to you in full.

      • In all other cases, the appointment cannot be refunded without booking a dress. Even if you show up to the try-on, but you do not rent any dresses, the appointment payment cannot be refunded. $10 will only be refunded if you rent a dress.

    Note: Appointment times are strict, and will be enforced out of respect for my pregnant clients’ time and my own time.

  • Rental Payment and Rental Deposit refunds:

    I can only refund your dress rental deposit and/or rental payment in two cases:

    • If you paid the rental deposit/payment but have not yet picked up the dress(es)

    • If the dress has a defect or damage which prevents you from being able to wear it AND you notify me as soon as possible after pickup

    In all other cases, if you have already paid for and picked up the dress, no refunds are possible.

    Note: Even if the dress rental deposit/payment is refunded to you, the appointment $10 payment will stay with me. The $10 is only refundable if you have successfully rented a dress, but NOT in the case of a rental refund request.

  • If you prefer to drop off the dress(es) a day after your special occasion/photoshoot, an extra $15 flat fee will be charged

  • When you press “Book Item” or “Schedule a Pickup” you will be directed to a booking page.

    After choosing a time according to my availability, you will be able to come for an in-person try-on session to pick up a dress.

    I find that the most popular way to pick up dresses is in the evening, a day before your photosession or event. This way you do not need to worry about finding extra time on the day of the event/photoshoot and it makes your experience more enjoyable. Drop-off is usually done right after the event/shoot. Any time works, even if it’s late in the night.


    Note: If you prefer to drop off the dress(es) a day after your event/photoshoot/baby shower, a small extra fee will be charged - $15

  • Yes, these dresses can definitely be rented for a variety of occasions like parties, galas, weddings, dinners, prom, graduation, or any other purpose where a special outfit is needed.

    They are not just for maternity either, although they are baby bump friendly which means they are suited for baby showers or other pregnancy occasions.

  • No, they have a flexible fit and can be worn for diverse purposes. They are baby bump friendly, however, which means that they can be used for pregnancy photoshoots and baby showers. You can see both Maternity and non-Maternity examples on the Home page gallery.

  • The deposit you make after booking a dress is held by me as a safeguard for its return. The deposit will be reimbursed to you in full once I’ve received the dress(es) back.

    • Payment is calculated by multiplying the daily rental rate by the number of rental days, plus a flat cleaning fee per dress.

    • Extended rentals are available for travel or multiple events.

Sometimes, I will even work with a tailor to make adjustments and transform dresses and gowns into unique one-of-a-kind fashion pieces.
